I contributed to the migration of a legacy Java Swing desktop application to a modern Angular-based web platform, helping improve scalability and user experience. As a frontend reference within the team, I provided technical guidance and supported decision-making. I also handled production data updates through Groovy scripts and direct database changes in Oracle and PostgreSQL. Additionally, I participated in sprint planning and collaborated with the team to deliver incremental improvements. Acting as a bridge between my team and the infrastructure team, I helped align on technical challenges and proposed solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

At Issuu, I worked on improving Issuu for Teams, a solution designed to enhance collaboration across cross-functional teams involved in creating, publishing, and distributing content. The goal was to simplify digital asset management while enabling more efficient and streamlined workflows between different stakeholders.

I collaborated closely with the designer and product manager to define and deliver new features aligned with user needs and business objectives. I contributed to the development of the Issuu Design System, applying WCAG guidelines to improve accessibility and ensure a more inclusive user experience. I also implemented tests that helped identify issues early in the development process, supporting the QA team and improving overall product quality. Additionally, I mentored junior developers, helping them understand the technical architecture and framework, and supporting their growth within the team.

Uphold is a multi-asset digital money platform that enables users to buy, sell, and trade across a wide range of assets, including cryptocurrencies, traditional currencies, and commodities. Operating in more than 140 countries, it offers a seamless “anything-to-anything” trading experience, allowing direct exchanges between asset classes without intermediate steps. The platform focuses on accessibility, transparency, and efficiency, aiming to simplify financial services and make them available to a global audience through integrated payments and proprietary technologies.

I worked on developing new features and enhancements for landing pages, with a strong focus on increasing user engagement and improving conversion rates. I optimized performance and refined the UI/UX to deliver a smoother and more intuitive experience. Content management was handled through a CMS, enabling flexible and scalable updates. I also collaborated closely with the team to plan and strategize feature implementation. Additionally, I contributed to the development and improvement of the email system using Customer.io, helping increase engagement and standardize communication through a consistent and cohesive design system.

Attentive brings key data from Salesforce and HubSpot directly into Slack, enabling sales representatives to create opportunities, update records, and receive important activity notifications without leaving their workflow. I worked closely with the product manager and designers to define and deliver features aligned with project goals, ensuring a consistent and user-focused approach.

I also improved application performance and refined the user interface to provide a smooth and intuitive experience. Additionally, I researched and introduced new technologies to enhance the platform and streamline development processes, while contributing to the development of a component library to promote reuse, consistency, and maintainability across the project.
